What is Qadirah Web3 Wallet?

Which networks and tokens does Qadirah Web3 Wallet support?

Currently, Qadirah Web3 Wallet supports the following networks:

  • Bitcoin
  • Ethereum
  • Solana
  • Algorand
  • Avalanche C-Chain
  • BNB Smart Chain
  • Cardano
  • Fantom
  • Polygon
  • Rootstock (send/receive only)

If you don’t see your RBTC deposit in your transaction history, don’t worry! Only send transactions will show in your transaction history, but your balance will be reflected correctly. To view the details of any transactions you’ve received, visit the Rootstock block explorer and search for your Rootstock address: RSK explorer.

If you import an existing wallet into Qadirah Web3 Wallet, you will only see assets on supported networks. If you have assets on other networks, you can continue to access them in Qadirah Desktop or Mobile.

Which browsers support Qadirah Web3 Wallet?

Qadirah Web3 Wallet is a Chrome-based extension. You can install it on Google Chrome or Brave.

To get started with Qadirah Web3 Wallet, you will first need to install the extension on a supported browser. You can follow this guide: How do I install Web3 Wallet?

After installing the Web3 Wallet, you have two options to set it up. You can create a new wallet, or if you already have an Qadirah, Phantom, or MetaMask wallet, you can restore it with its 12-word secret recovery phrase.

Be aware that Qadirah will only restore an address from Phantom or MetaMask if it has previous transaction history. If not, a new address will be created for that asset.

I have a wallet - restore an existing wallet

You also have the option to sync your existing Qadirah wallet with your Web3 Wallet. If you restore a wallet with your 12-word secret recovery phrase, only assets on the supported networks will be shown in the Web3 Wallet.

We recommend creating a new wallet for Qadirah Web3 Wallet because it makes it a little safer to interact with dApps and Web3 apps. To learn more about protecting your assets while connecting to third-party apps, read our article: Safety and security for DeFi and Web3.

Qadirah Web3 Wallet supports 12-word phrases generated by QadirahPhantom, and MetaMask. However, Qadirah will only restore an address from Phantom or MetaMask if it has previous transaction history. If not, a new address will be created for that asset.

How do I back up my Web3 Wallet so I always have access to it?

It is very important that you back up your wallet by writing down your 12-word secret recovery phrase. The 12-word phrase is the only way to restore your funds on another device if your device is lost or stolen.

If you write down your 12-word phrase and keep it somewhere safe offline, you will always have access to your funds.
