How do I add a custom token?

Everything you need to know about adding custom tokens on different networks.

Custom tokens can be sent, received, and safely stored in your Qadirah wallet!

Which custom tokens does Qadirah support?

Custom tokens are supported on multiple networks in Qadirah. You can see which networks are supported below.

  • Ethereum
  • Algorand
  • Avalanche C-Chain

How do I add custom tokens to my wallet?

Web3 Wallet

In Qadirah Web3 Wallet, you can add custom tokens on Ethereum, Solana, and other supported networks. Here’s how you can add a custom token to your Web3 Wallet.

If you restore your wallet using your 12-word secret recovery phrase or sync your wallet to another device, you might need to add custom tokens to your wallet again.

To add a custom token, open the Web3 Wallet and a) click the Profile icon, then b) click Asset

If your search returns no results, continue to Step 3 to add a token by its contract address.

If your search in Step 2 has returned no results, you'll need to find the token contract address by following these guides:

To add a custom token by its contract address, a) click the Custom tab in the top right corner, then b) click Add Custom Token.

Click on the dropdown arrow to select the network of the token you want to add.

You can then add a custom token by entering the contract address found in Step 3

When you have entered the token details, click Continue.

Before you can receive an Algorand token, you have to opt in and enable it. To see how, visit: How do I opt in and enable Algorand tokens on the Web3 Wallet?

Click Add Token. The token will be added to your wallet. You can now send and receive the custom token from your Web3 Wallet.

Desktop

In Qadirah Desktop, you can add custom tokens on Ethereum, Solana, and other supported networks. Here’s how you can add a custom token to your desktop wallet.

If you restore your desktop wallet using your 12-word secret recovery phrase, or sync your desktop wallet to another device, you might need to add custom tokens to your wallet again.

To add a custom token, open Qadirah Desktop and click on the Settings icon.

a) Click on the Assets tab at the top of your wallet. On the right-hand side of your wallet, b) click on the More menu, then c) click on Add Custom Token.

a) Click on the dropdown arrow to select the network, then b) click Search.

You can then search for the custom token by name. If no token is found, you can copy and paste the token contract address by following these guides:

Once you've found the token you would like to add, either by searching by name or pasting in the token contract address, click on the token.

To add the custom token to your wallet, click Add Token.

You will now be able to send and receive the custom token you added.

Mobile

In Qadirah Mobile, you can add custom tokens on Ethereum, Solana, and other supported networks. Here’s how you can add a custom token.

If you restore your mobile wallet using your 12-word secret recovery phrase, perform a mobile refresh, or sync your mobile wallet to another device, you might need to add custom tokens to your wallet again.

To add a custom token, open Qadirah Mobile, a) tap the Menu icon, then b) tap Assets.

a) Tap on the Advanced Options icon in the top right corner, then b) tap on Add Custom Token.

a) Tap on the dropdown arrow to select the network of the token you want to add, then b) tap Search.

To find the token contract address of a Solana token, first go to the SolScan token list. Search for the asset you want to add. Click on the token to open the token profile summary.

How do I find the token ID for Algorand (ASA) tokens?

Adding a custom Algorand token will create an opt-in transaction which will incur a network fee. It will also increase your Algorand minimum reserve requirement by 0.1 ALGO. To learn more, visit: What is an Algorand opt-in transaction?

To find the token ID of an Algorand (ASA) token, first go to the Algorand token list. From here, you can a) find the token from the list or b) use the search tool to find the token.

To find the contract address of an Avalanche token, first go to the Avalanche token list. Search for the asset you want to add. You can a) find the token from the list or b) use the search tool. Click on the token to open the token profile summary.

How do I find a token address for Cardano tokens?

Currently, only Cardano tokens available on Muesliswap can be added as custom tokens. You can find the list here: Muesliswap Markets.

a) Visit Muesliswap Markets and b) select your token from the list, or c) search for your token by name.

If your token is available on Muesliswap, next visit CoinMarketCap to get its contract address. In CoinMarketCap, a) search for your token's name. From the dropdown menu, b) click on your token. Finally, in the Contract field, c) click on the copy icon to copy your token's contract address.

How do I find a token address for Fantom tokens?

To find the contract address of a Fantom token, first go to the Fantom token list. Search for the asset you want to add. You can a) find the token from the list or b) use the search tool. Click on the token to open the token profile summary.

Can I swap custom tokens?

With Qadirah Mobile, it is possible to swap most custom tokens on the Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain, and Polygon networks. For instructions on how to swap tokens in Qadirah Mobile, visit: How do I swap assets on Mobile?

Qadirah Web3 Wallet and Desktop does currently not support swapping custom tokens.
