How do I join a Zoom meeting?
This guide will go over how to join a Zoom meeting you’ve booked with Qadirah Support+.
If you’d like, you can join a test meeting beforehand to ensure everything is working smoothly on your end. For instructions, jump to: How do I join a Zoom test meeting?
Desktop
If you don't have Zoom installed, visit the Zoom Download Center to download and install Zoom. If you already have Zoom installed, continue to the next step.
To join the meeting, open your email appointment and click on the Join Zoom Meeting link.

a) Click Launch meeting, then b) allow your browser to open Zoom.

Click Join with Computer Audio.

You have now successfully joined the Qadirah Support+ Zoom meeting.
- Make sure your microphone is not muted
- Click on the microphone icon to turn your microphone on or off
- You don’t need to turn on your camera

Mobile
If you don't have Zoom installed, visit the Zoom Download Center to download and install Zoom. If you already have Zoom installed, continue to the next step.
To join the meeting, open your email appointment and tap the Join Zoom Meeting link. This will open the Zoom app.

a) Enter your display name for the call, then b) tap Continue.

If prompted, allow Zoom to access your microphone.

Tap Wifi or Cellular Data.

You have successfully joined your Qadirah Support+ Zoom meeting.
- Make sure your microphone is not muted
- Tap the microphone icon to turn your microphone on or off
- You don’t need to turn on your camera

How do I join a Zoom test meeting?
This guide will cover how to join a Zoom test meeting to set up your Zoom app.
You can join a test call to ensure everything works before your scheduled Qadirah Support+ Zoom meeting.
Desktop
First, if you don't have Zoom installed, visit the Zoom Download Center to download and install Zoom. If you already have Zoom installed, continue to the next step.
To join the test meeting, click on this Zoom test meeting link: Join a Zoom test meeting.
Next, click Join.

a) Click Launch meeting, and b) allow your browser to open Zoom.

Click Test Speaker and Microphone.

Zoom will now play a ringtone. If you can hear the ringtone, a) click Yes. If you don't hear the ringtone, try increasing the volume on your device. If you still don't hear the ringtone, b) try selecting a different speaker.

Next, to test your microphone, speak and pause, then listen for the replay. If you heard the replay, a) click Yes. If you did not hear the replay, b) try selecting a different microphone.

When you've confirmed your device is working properly, click End Test.

Mobile

To join the test meeting, tap on the Join Zoom test meeting link here: Join a Zoom test meeting.
Tap Join.

Allow your browser to open Zoom.

a) Enter your display name for the call, then b) tap Continue.

If prompted, allow Zoom to access your microphone.

Tap Wifi or Cellular Data.

You have successfully joined a test meeting. To end the test, click Done.

How do I share my screen?
This guide will show how you can share your screen with Zoom on desktop and mobile.
If you share your screen, never show your 12-word secret recovery phrase, private keys, passwords, or other personal information.
In Zoom, you can stop sharing your screen at any time.
Desktop
Qadirah staff will NEVER ask for sensitive information, including passwords, private keys, or 12-word secret recovery phrases. If you share your screen, never show your 12-word secret recovery phrase, private keys, passwords, or other personal information.
To share your screen on a Zoom meeting, click Share Screen.

a) Select the screen you want to share, then b) click Share.

To stop sharing your screen, click on Stop share.

To share your screen on a Zoom meeting, tap Share Content.

From the list, tap Screen.

Next, allow Zoom to share your screen. Note that although Zoom defaults to saying your screen will be recorded, Qadirah will not record the Zoom meeting.

To stop sharing your screen, go to the Zoom app and tap Stop Share.
